Spring Walks 2016

16 April 2016 @ 10:30 am - 12:00 pm

  • « Spring Walks 2016
  • Spring Walks 2016 »

Join us for a guided walk through South Cubbington Wood and the surrounding countryside.

A series of 7 walks to view first the anemones, possibly the wild pear tree in bloom 7 and lastly the bluebells.

All walks start from the King’s Head, Church Hill, Cubbington.    Distance about 2 miles.  Walks are free of charge, but any donations to our fighting fund will be gratefully received; our popular notelets with views of the local area will also be on sale before and after the walks.  Our new coasters will also be available while stocks last.

Bring your children and your friends, especially visitors from outside the area.  Dogs on leads also welcome.  Strong shoes or wellies recommended, depending on recent weather; some areas in the wood are always muddy.

About Cubbington Action Group

We are an association of the residents of Cubbington and its environs, formed in response to the proposals to build and operate HS2, a high-speed train link, through some of Warwickshire’s most beautiful countryside. The noise, visual impact and disruption will devastate our lives, the environment and wildlife. Find out more... NEW
