Event organised by the Save Cubbington Woods group and HS2 Rebellion.
Save Cubbington Pear Tree – National Tree of the Year 2015 – an icon of the struggle against “Legalised Ecocide” by HS2.
The Pear Tree is now also an icon for the GB taxpayer who will pay over £106 bn for this vanity gravy train that is causing more job losses than it creates.
Meet outside St Mary’s Church at 09:30 from where we will go to see Cubbington Woods and the famous Cubbington Pear Tree with an optional visit to support the Welsh Road Protection Camp afterwards. Bring a picnic lunch with you. There will be speeches along the way, plus you will have opportunity to tell your own story if you so wish.
Please wear face coverings and observe social distancing guidelines. Please bring your own hand sanitiser.
If you do not feel well, please DO NOT ATTEND.
Camping available at Crackley Woods Protection Camp and other venues.
