Under the terms of the HS2 (London-West Midlands) Act, HS2 Ltd is required to make “Schedule 17 submissions” to our local planning authority (Warwick District Council). These are treated like planning applications, although the LPA is much more restricted than in normal applications in its powers to object.
As is the case for normal planning applications, WDC will give the Parish Council to opportunity to comment on HS2 submissions that affect Cubbington, although the Act does not require them to do so.
