On January 20th and 21st, Cubbington and our neighbouring villages took their turn before the Parliamentary Select Committee on the HS2 Hybrid Bill. On Tuesday 20th the petitions of Cubbington Parish Council, Weston Parish Council, the joint Parish Council of Offchurch, Hunningham, Eathorpe and Wappenbury and the Action Groups of Cubbington and Offchurch were presented. In the event, all these petitions were heard together and the different bodies represented by one barrister. Individual petitioners from the area also appeared before the committee, most of them on Wednesday.
