HS2 local maps and updates

24 September 2020 By Rosemary Guiot

As there’s so much dismay at what is happening to our countryside, we’re reposting a link to the latest HS2 maps that we have, so that people are prepared the worst.  The document is 30MB and is not that recent.  The final design has not yet been published – it was due in December 2019.

The maps are here: Cubbington area starts at p32, but NB this page is out of date and has been replaced by p 33.  This shows the construction phase.  The “proposed scheme”, i.e. what it should look like when finished, also shows 2 pages: again, p34 is out of date and has been replaced by p35. https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/466779/CFA_17_Offchurch_and_Cubbington.pdf?fbclid=IwAR2hD-o0V6qcbRkKO8X3E_srmr4yl9vI3mNUrVmTLxxgiIN81-M8C2OLr7w

You can sign up to receive notification of works in the area by email here :

These are supposed to be issued with 2 weeks notice, but that doesn’t always happen and the information is not always complete.

About Cubbington Action Group

We are an association of the residents of Cubbington and its environs, formed in response to the proposals to build and operate HS2, a high-speed train link, through some of Warwickshire’s most beautiful countryside. The noise, visual impact and disruption will devastate our lives, the environment and wildlife. Find out more... NEW
